We had the experience of catching this 12lb walleye Sunday during the Bart’s Cove tournament. It took big fish honors and was the largest walleye we have ever boated. Our team landed the walleye at roughly 1:30 pm off a down rigger set five ft below the thermocline at roughly 74 ft down. This fish took a silver streak bladed hand tied worm harness. It measured 32 inches and had a 18 inch girth. The last 11 plus pound fish we boated was in 1996 caught by my grandfather Duliba with my father and I present.
