❤️ Personalized vacation planning from start to finish I loved getting Disney movies for Christmas every year, I loved visiting Walt Disney World with my family on vacations, and I loved honeymooning in Walt Disney World with my husband. We've taken quick trips (arriving late on a Friday and checking out on a Sunday morning) and long trips (12 days is our longest so far) and we always seem to be drawn back. It was on one of those trips that my husband and I saw someone consulting an itinerary that had been prepared for them by a travel planner. We always planned our own trips and had things down to a science. Now, years later, that's exactly what I'm doing. I know that every Disney vacation is different. 🚢 JUST BOOKED! 🚢

What’s better than booking a Disney Cruise? Booking one with great friends! ❤️

A group of friends and neighbors just booked the Disney Fantasy for next October, and I think they are going to have SO much fun traveling together!

🎃 And since they’ll be sailing in October, they’ll get to experience some of the extra Halloween fun onboard too!

One of the best parts? They booked early. Booking a cruise this far ahead can have some pretty great advantages:

⚓ More cabin choices — especially important when several families want cabins that work well together
💰 Locking in their cruise fare early
🗓️ Plenty of time to plan all the fun
💳 And the longest possible time to make payments along the way

There’s just something extra fun about having a vacation on the calendar to look forward to — especially when you know your friends are coming too! 🥰

🛳️ FIRST-TIME CRUISE TIP: Don’t give the porter EVERYTHING!

When you arrive at the cruise terminal, you’ll usually hand your larger luggage over to a porter before you board. It’s super convenient—but there’s something first-time cruisers don’t always realize:

Your luggage may not make it to your stateroom until later in the day.

So make sure you keep a small carry-on with anything you’ll want or need during those first few hours onboard.

👙 Swimsuit
☀️ Sunscreen
💊 Medications
📱 Phone charger
🕶️ Sunglasses
🪥 A few personal essentials
📚 A good book or something to keep you entertained
📄 And, most importantly, your travel documents!

Never put your passport or other important travel documents in the luggage you hand over to the porter.

Once you’re onboard, your vacation has started! You don’t want to be sitting by the pool wishing you’d packed your swimsuit in your carry-on while your suitcase is somewhere making its way through the ship. 😂

And for me? A good book. 📚 There are few things better than starting vacation with a book and an ocean view while you’re waiting for your room to be ready.

Those suitcases in the hallway? That’s what embarkation day can look like while everyone’s luggage is being delivered to their rooms. 🧳🧳🧳

🌴JUST BOOKED! 🇲🇽

Two couples are officially headed to Cancun, Mexico next spring! ☀️🌊

They came to me with a pretty specific vacation wish list:

🏖️ Clear turquoise water & a beautiful sandy beach
✈️ Easy flights and a reasonable ride from the airport
🍴 LOTS of food choices — including plenty for someone who doesn’t eat seafood
🌊 Ocean views
😎 A chill, laid-back atmosphere
💰 And all within their budget

After comparing several destinations and resorts, we found an option that checked a whole lot of those boxes — and now they’re booked! 🌴🥂

This is one of my favorite parts of travel planning. Everyone’s vacation wish list looks a little different, and finding the option that fits your priorities is what it’s all about.

🎃🏰 There is just something about Disney at Halloween!

Last September, we went to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom, and looking back through these pictures has me ready to do it all over again. 🧡

The Halloween decorations, special treats, characters, costumes, trick-or-treating, and getting to experience Magic Kingdom after dark make this such a fun time to visit.

If you’ve never been, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed event held on select nights at Magic Kingdom, with special entertainment and experiences you won’t find during a regular park day.

We had SO much fun that night—and I have a feeling a few more pictures and videos from this trip may be making an appearance around here before Halloween. 😂🎃

Woah! Yesterday was a complete Disney day! It started early grabbing cabins for a 2027 Disney cruise and ended with booking a hotel for a Christmas getaway for a family.
