As we approach 1 year as Eagles Landing we can’t help but to reflect on what an amazing, hard and rewarding journey this year has been for our family.

It’s TAKEN A VILLAGE to accomplish what we have done this year and we couldn’t be more thankful. Phil and Sonya Dechene LeBoeuf graciously held our hands as we learned how to navigate this business, teaching us the ins and outs of running the cabins, the land and the RV sites. Allen Rode, Matt’s Dad (and Matt) worked countless days dawn until dusk pulling docks in and out of the water, improving our driveway and beach, (thank you Jeff and Shelly for lending us your machine) carrying heavy mattresses up flights of stairs and so much more. Our incredible property manager, Merri Ann, Jimmy and the entire cleaning team helped us create and organize our own “laundry facility” and help keep our operation moving smoothly even on the bone chilling days of winter. We appreciate you more than you know! Margaret, Bert, Nathan, and Bryan thank you all for coming to our rescue when we’ve been in a pinch and for your well wishes along the way. None of you have to show up for us, but you all have and it means so much.

We had plans of renovating one cabin per year but if you know us, you know we can’t wait. We love to see our properties come to life and find joy in providing clean, chic accommodations for our guests. A huge shout-out to our local vendor partners, Bouchard Enterprises, Nadeau flooring, Randy Cyr, Home Soloutions, Extreme Granite & Peter and Brandon with Plourde Constructions for helping our renovations come together and for spending countless hours with us hustling to complete the properties just a few days before Christmas. We couldn’t have done it without you. Crystal Parent , our curtains look fabulous and give the rooms a cozy feel. Thank you for pulling those together for us so quickly during the holiday season! We hope you all know how valued you are to us and thankful for the time you’ve dedicated. To Lauras siblings, thanks for keeping working on this property fun. From rowing docks across the lake to building our cold plunge, we can always count on you guys for a good time. Mike and Jen at MJ'S Pub & Grub, thanks for sharing our information with your guests and catering for ours when needed. AND last but not least, an overwhelming amount of gratitude for our Sarasota Gulf Coast Homes - Realtors team and our talented operational staff who make it possible for us to travel as much as we had to this year.
