Our historic overnight rental properties in Vermont don't just offer a completely unique experience, they're also a great value.

Our smaller properties like Naulakha Stable or The Sugarhouse are a great escape for you and a loved one.

Or bring the whole fmaily to Rudyard Kipling's Naulakha or the Dutton Farmhouse, which have 4 bedrooms each. For less per room than a hotel you'll be able to spend more time with your favorite people, still have your own space, and enjoy a one-of-a-kind historic house!

This Friday, May 29 at 7pm, we're so excited to be partnering with Brattleboro Music Center to bring Ben Cosgrove and his “beautiful and fascinating” (The Maine Edge) piano pieces to Brattleboro thanks to the support of The Windham Foundation.

Over the course of the last year, Ben has spent a night in every season at our Dutton Farmhouse property, an 1849 Greek Revival treasure overlooking Scott Farm Orchard. He has written a new piece of music inspired by the location that will be performed on Friday night! Cosgrove's music is all about landscape, environment, and the uniqueness of place. Seven Days has called his music “evocative and fully arresting… brim[ming] with technical mastery and emotions.”

Dutton Farmhouse is a very special place, Ben Cosgrove is a very special performer, and this will be a very special concert you will not want to miss!

The BMC presents “An Evening With Ben Cosgrove” on Friday, May 29 at 7 p.m. The concert will feature the traveling pianist-composer-performer whose music explores themes of landscape, place, and environment. The […]

Tickets for our annual Naulakha Estate & Rhododendron Tour are selling out! As of this moment, we have just 3 tickets left for the Cocktail Party on Friday, June 5. The daytime event from 10am-5pm on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7 has already sold out many timeslots, but there are still spaces available later in the day.

The ticket time just indicates entry to the main house. If you have a ticket for a later time, you can still enjoy the grounds earlier in the day. So don't be afraid of the late afternoon slots!

The Landmark Trust USA offers annual tours of Rudyard Kipling's Vermont estate, Naulakha, while the rhododendrons are likely to be in bloom.

The newly rehabilitated Naulakha Stable is our first studio bedroom property, and it's perfect for a romantic escape or solo getaway. At the heart of the space is this ultra comfy Queen bed. The sloped ceilings make the space feel like a secret private hideaway and remind you that you're in a very cool historic barn. Quite a transformation from how the space started but still maintaining historic character. Don't miss the last picture for the "before" shot!
