Not every day needs a plan. Sometimes, the best part of being in Maine is a warm cup of coffee, a little breeze off the water, and a comfortable chair with nowhere else you need to be.
There’s time to explore, of course. To wander the shoreline, take in the fall colors, and find another little corner of Acadia to love.
But there’s something special about coming back to the cottage, settling in, and letting the day unfold a little more slowly.

A trail that takes a little bit longer than expected. A view north worth stopping for. Rocks to climb, paths to wander, and a few moments when everyone forgets to check the time. Because the best adventures aren’t always about where you end up. They’re about who you discover it with.

It’s blueberry season in Maine. 🫐
