I spent an evening with travel and wine professionals at the Argentine Embassy for Malbec World Day, learning about Malbec, hearing from a few of the Mendoza's oldest wineries and of course tasting several wines! While I did not win the roundtrip tickets raffled by I did gain a lot of knowledge about visiting the region and touring wineries.

Favorite projects? A 3-way tie:
1) Classic romantic week on the Amalfi Coast
2) African family safari by working with a trusted friend and colleague in S.Africa
3) Custom tailored 4 week trip in Europe including luxury boutique hotels, private drivers and guides all before a leisurely river cruise.

We recently returned from a cruise on AMAWaterways where we visited Belgium, The Netherlands, France, Germany and Switzerland. This summer Kerri will be heading to Rome adding to her personal knowledge and first hand experiences!

Remembering my trip to Italy just days after the borders opened in 2021. Spending 2 days at this winery near San Gimignano was so fun with tastings among the vines, a cooking class, truffle hunting, archery and a helicopter ride over the hills of Tuscany. One of their instructors is coming to my house for a fun night of tasting!

Kerri and I had a really great time with friends aboard the AMA Lucia cruising the Rhine River recently. We saw soooo many castles walked through fairy tale towns and enjoyed chocolate and pastries in each of them. Oh and wine! The cruise began in Amsterdam and took us through Germany and the Alsace region of France before ending in Switzerland and we tried a new local wine each day. We learned about the many layers of history from the midevil times to World War II. The scenery was captivating as we floated south, UP the river and through a dozen locks.

December 13, 2024 marks a HUGE milestone for me as a travel advisor. Today there is a couple departing for a magical Christmas Market river Cruise on Avalon Waterways They are my VERY LAST COVID RE-BOOKING! I couldn't be happier for them as they finally get to take this long awaited romantic, festive vacation.

I began this work in 2017. 2020 was meant to be a breakout year and instead I spent a year+ working to cancel plans and recover funds for clients. Nearly 5 years later my Cov1d related work is finally coming to a bit of an emotional end.

Thank you to Avalon for working so well with us through 3 different booking processes!
