There’s a new face in downtown Eatonton. And his story started here more than 100 years ago.

Hiram Little was born in Eatonton, Georgia, in 1919 and went on to serve as a Tuskegee Airman during World War II.

Now, his story has come home.

An eight-foot bronze sculpture of Little, created by Atlanta sculptor Basil Watson and commissioned by The Artisans Village, now stands near the Veterans Wall of Honor Park as part of the Eatonton Sculpture Trail.

Halloween morning in Eatonton starts with a run past the town's most famous "live ghosts." 🦇

RIP Run in Putnam is Saturday, October 31. The 5K takes you through 3.1 miles of tree-lined streets and historic downtown, with $500 to the overall winner and custom medals for age group winners. Kids ages 3 to 10 get their own Fun Run at 8:30, and every one of them finishes with an award and a plushie.

Then everyone lands at the Livery Studio for the free after-party: awards, costume contest, local vendors, and food.
