Pick out our Halloween Party Costumes!

Alright friends, I need your help.

For the first time ever, the whole fam is headed to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. What’s the catch? We are surprising the kids.

That means you know who has to plan and pack the costumes for two tween girls without consulting them.

This is where you come in! I’ve got it narrowed down to two options, and I want your vote.

1. The Incredibles Family
2. Inside Out 2 (where my elder millennial anxiety can shine)

It will be August and it will be hot, and we are hoping to pack light.

It's June 1st, that means it's summer. 🎉

Yes, I know it's not "officially" summer, but this is when I celebrate it!

In honor of summer, here's where my clients are headed this summer:

☀️Las Vegas for a couple of girls' trips to see the Backstreet Boys!
☀️ Two families headed to Disneyland to take advantage of those kids' ticket deals!
☀️ One Virgin Voyages Cruise (it might be me)
☀️ One family headed to Walt Disney World to celebrate a really early Halloween
☀️ Four Families Cruising to Alaska on Disney Cruise Line
☀️ Two Families Cruising aboard the new Disney Destiny!

May was all about learning new and exciting things for my clients! I participated in some agency trainings, and also did some independent learning as well. I'm a lifelong learner, and it's so rewarding to be able to pass this on to my clients. ❤️

Here’s the catch: there are a BUNCH of choices, and not every bid is going to be the right one.

These programs and catches are the reason you have a travel advisor—you’re not going in blind or listening to strangers on social media, you’re going to have the help of someone who has done it before, and can give you real life experience.

Lest you think travel advising is pure glamour…

Here’s what I’m up to this week, sometimes in my heatless curls, passenger princess, clean face, orange bird shirt glory:

✅ Bookings, bookings, bookings: Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and Costa Rica!
✅ Helping and advising some Disney Cruise Line clients on a pre-voyage hotel stay.
✅ Making a little video tutorial for more Disney Cruise Line clients on check in and booking process.
✅ Keeping tabs on all the new updates at Walt Disney World this week, as I had clients traveling this week!
✅Definitely not glamorous—updating my paper binder system, so all your trips go with me wherever I go (yes even on my vacations).

Travel advising is fun, it’s travel, but it’s definitely not all there is to the job, and I take it seriously, heatless curls or not 😂

Summer is around the corner—and one of my favorite parts of both my jobs is that means TRAVEL.

🎉 Congratulations to the “K” Family! 🎉

This family came to me looking for a spot to experience Walt Disney World over Thanksgiving week.

Easy transportation? Dining options at your fingertips? Incredible theming for a first trip? Art of Animation it is!

Because they are on the Skyliner, and because they’ll want some time to unwind over the week, we opted for Park Hopper Plus tickets which will get them several visits to the waterparks over the week.

There’s something so special about planning a first trip, and over the holidays too. Let the fun begin! 🎉

Let’s talk about a perk of cruising I don’t think gets talked about enough.

Do I love to travel the world? Yes, yes I do.

Do I have 2 weeks at a time to explore Italy at this stage in my life? No, I do not.

In 5 Nights aboard the Disney Fantasy, I got to explore Barcelona, Rome, and maybe one of my favorite spots I’ve ever been: Cinque Terre.

Someday, I’ll have the time and means to spend 3 weeks in Italy, but right now, this is the perfect way for me to see the world.
