This sweet family just got off a Disney Cruise, and they loved it so much they booked a placeholder onboard!

A placeholder is a way to secure a future Disney sailing, and also secure a rare discount.

Despite what it might look like, I don’t actually travel all the time.

Some trips don’t require a suitcase, airfare, or a passport.

Today we hit up the Minnesota State Fair—and put our theme park strategy to the test.

This time around we had our two year old niece in tow, and I was reminded we are still stroller driving pros in crowds 😂

If you have been avoiding a theme park destination due to crowds or using a stroller: consider using a travel advisor!

I’ve got all the hacks for: air conditioning, stroller navigation, and quiet spots to sneak in that nap.

If you know me, the thing I love most about Disney Cruises might surprise you…

You are forced to be spontaneous.

What restaurants are you eating at on which nights?

When/what is the trivia going to be?

What movies are playing onboard?

You don’t know until you board the ship!

And for a hyper planner—this can be anxiety inducing, but also incredibly freeing.

The feeling of spontaneously wandering to Pixar Trivia, or catching Moana on Funnel Vision after dinner is where the magical family memories are made.

So yes, I’m ok not knowing where dinner is ahead of time, because it’s part of the fun.

As of this morning, sailings on Disney Cruise Line into Spring of 2028 are open to guests who have previously sailed with Disney Cruise Line before!

Here is my least favorite task: going through our family calendar and adding in every single non school day.

Why do I do this?

Because there is nothing worse than realizing at the last second that you have yet another Monday with no school in January.

OR

Spring Break is actually 11 days and you thought it was 9.

Well friends, I did the work for you this time. I won’t even take the credit. I’ve pieced together every long weekend and extended school break in the school districts where most of my local clients reside.

This family came to me looking for their first Disney Cruise. They were hoping for a classic Disney feel, and space for their family of 5.

My queen, the Disney Dream has this family covered.

Your family of 5 doesn’t need two rooms on Disney Cruise Line, and you don’t need a suite either. They’ll all be in one room, and will enjoy split bathrooms for maximum sharing space.

There is no joy like knowing another client will get to experience Disney Cruise Line for the first time. If you’re hoping/dreaming/thinking this could be you, the time is definitely now.
