On behalf of NC Leasing Inc, I would like to thank our customers, partners, and all affiliates for trusting our team with your business. We take pride in being recognized as the “Number 1” carrier in the Baltimore, Maryland area.
In addition to offering a top-notch service and creating strong relationships in the Trucking industry, we take a personal responsibility in reducing our carbon footprint. As we cut carbon emissions, we are contributing towards cleaner air, water, and food for our generation and for generations to come. Reducing our carbon footprint is important to us because it improves public health, boosts the global economy, and maintains biodiversity. As the Nation pushes towards zero-emission trucks, we are on-board investing in the purchase of new trucks each year fashioned with the latest clean diesel technology. Some new truck items include: the use of DEF, added wind deflection technology, DPF filters to catch soot from unnecessarily entering the ecosystem, more advanced engine systems to lower emissions and better fuel mileage.
In addition to cleaner emissions, many of our trucks now have or will soon have advanced safety features including front collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist technology, driver safety monitoring, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), dash mounted cameras, and advanced fleet tracking software, and much more.
NC Leasing invests heavily with the Volvo truck manufacturer and Wabash National equipment manufacturer; the industry leaders in emissions control and safety features (see below links to Volvo and Wabash sites). We are affiliated with several trucking associations including the Maryland Truck Association keeping us up to date with all industry standards, regulations, and advancements.
NC Leasing has an inside look at the newly available fully electric heavy haul trucks. Even though fully electric heavy haul trucks are available, very few have sold in the United States thus far due to lacking infrastructure, high upfront costs, and limited travel range. We are excited to see a significant increase in the use of fully electric heavy haul trucks over the next 10 years. As the US Government pushes for change, NC Leasing has an adaptive advantage as we maintain extensive relationships with shippers and viable connections with brokers in the industry.
