One of the highlights of Chilimania is, of course, the public chili tasting to award the People's Choice winner!

Here's how it works: Starting at 3 PM on Saturday, September 12, crowds will gather around with their tasting cups & spoons to start sampling the chili made on-site by 50+ cooks. Attendees can sample as many as they'd like, while supplies last. Then, return your ballot to the collection box near the Main Stage to add your votes to crown a winner!

Chili tasting tips:
🌶 Arrive early to beat the rush! Admission gate lines can get a little longer as the public tasting nears.

🌶 Tasting packets including the spoon, cup, & ballot can be found all around the grounds: near the Main Stage, near the Rollin & Henry Street gate, and sometimes in-between.

🌶 The public tasting generally lasts between an hour to an hour & a half! Sampling quantities can go quick, especially if it's an extra popular booth.

The gates are open from 8 AM-5 PM each day, with admission just $10 for adults and FREE for kids 12 and under! This Friday is Seniors, First Responders, & Veterans Day, with a discounted $8 admission for anyone in those groups.

Want to plan ahead? Purchase your tickets online before you arrive, including single-day admission or a $30 weekend pass so you can come back and experience even more!

“Before I die, I’d like to see threshing done the old way.”

That wish from August Hantke helped spark the first public threshing demonstration in 1956, when about 100 people gathered to watch a restored steam engine at work.

70 years later, that afternoon has grown into the Rock River Thresheree: a tradition dedicated to keeping agricultural and industrial history alive for generations to come. Don't miss this year's event over Labor Day weekend on September 4-7!

Next month's Ciafullo's Table dining experience is bringing a taste of fall to ATRIA HALL with a special dinner menu created by Chef Joshua of Craving Concepts on Saturday, September 19!

Start your night at the main level lounge with drinks and an artisanal charcuterie spread. Afterwards, head upstairs for a dinner featuring roasted beet & goat cheese salad, roasted butternut squash bisque, herb-seared airline chicken supreme, and ending with brown butter cherry apple bread pudding.

One more chance to dance & sing along at Concerts in the Park! 🎶

This summer's season is wrapping up with a rain date make-up performance from Orquesta Salsoul Del Mad, Madison's premier Latin fusion band. Get ready for an energetic mix of Latin rhythms, Salsa and Soul, with music in both English and Spanish!

Concessions will be available to purchase from the Renegades 4-H Club beginning at 5:30 PM, with the concert starting at 6:30 PM.

The concert is free and brought to you by the Arts Council of Edgerton.
