The Walt Disney Company just announced via their company Twitter account that opening plans will be presented to the Florida Economic Task Force tomorrow, 5/27/2020.

Reopening plans will require endorsement from the Orange County Mayor and must include a projected opening date, before they can be submitted to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. They will be presented tomorrow morning beginning at 10:00 AM. At this time, all Walt Disney World parks and resort hotels remain closed. We will keep you updated on the progress!

Disney announces big plans! 🌐Epcot will undergo a massive, park-wide transformation ahead of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary in 2021. The re-imagination of Epcot will feature “Journey of Water,” the first-ever attraction inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios film “Moana.”🌀 This new experience will let guests interact with “magical, living water” in a walk-through, exploration trail-type setting on the way to visit The Living Seas. Stay tuned for more news from Disney coming this weekend!
