Access to 50th & France Remains Open!

Bridge Construction Notice for Summer of 2025:

The City of Edina, Hennepin County, and MnDOT are working together to rebuild two bridges near Edina City Hall this summer. One of them is near the end of its life. The other can’t be updated for 20 years if it’s not updated now.

As part of the project, those two bridges will be temporarily closed this summer. All other local roads remain open, and businesses at 50th & France remain accessible. Use Eden Avenue (the bridge just south of 50th) to detour around the work.

Thanks for your patience as the city completes these important improvements to make the area safer, updates infrastructure and makes crossing over HWY 100 more pedestrian-friendly.
