Pretty amazing video from Edisto. We've seen dolphins at the Sound, but nothing like this.

Note: The hosting site evidently changed how they do pricing without warning, so my seasonal prices are all messed up. The calendar is still accurate, but contact me for pricing until I figure out what system they are now using. Ugh.
For some reason (perhaps partially due to the pricing mess), August 14-22 is still available. If you want an 8-day stretch at the beach to top off your summer, let me know!

When you visit Edisto, stop in on Marsh Hen Mill on the way in, on the right not long after you cross the bridge. Fun little shop and you can get the freshly milled meal to make amazing grits. Support the local businesses.

Sunday was the first anniversary since my mother Rose Ramsay passed away. She LOVED Edisto.
A bit of Chaika related history: She and my dad Bill retired there in 1996 and spent 10 wonderful years on Edisto. They built the house next to the tennis courts in Wyndham. While there, they located our house and bought it with us since our home equity was available while we were serving overseas. They managed it for us those years. We took it over when we returned in 2006, the same year they moved back to Kentucky. So thankful to them for the fact we have this house that so many have been able to enjoy.

Our house is unused March 16-22 - if you can do a spontaneous Edisto trip, we'll give you a crazy good discount so it doesn't sit empty.

It's time to look ahead in 2025 and plan a visit to Edisto! We have a few days in March, then it is fairly open from August forward. There is no bad time to visit Edisto!
