The Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta!

This ballooning event is one of- if not THE LARGEST- ballooning events in the world, and consists of over 500 hot air balloons. The convention has also become a major showcase of New Mexican culture and history and features numerous cultural exhibitions!

Albuquerque is known for its beautiful landscape, countless museums, and delectable culinary scene! It is also a mere hour from Santa Fe, another New Mexico gem and one of my personal favorites 🙌

So go take in the fantastic weather (October is known to be gorgeous)and experience this amazing event. Take a hike in the Sandia Mountains- La Luz is supposed to be intense but incredible- and enjoy the architecture and culture of downtown!
