🚢 Disney Cruise Dining Update: What do you think?

Disney Cruise Line is making changes to Palo and transitioning away from the prix-fixe dinner menu to a selection of à la carte favorites.

📅 The changes begin October 22 and roll out across the fleet over several days.

Honestly, I’m not really a fan of this update. I like knowing what to expect from a dining experience, and I’m curious how this change will affect the overall Palo experience. 🤔

Platinum and Pearl Castaway Club members can still use their $55 per-person dinner credit, but the menu format is changing.

🍓🐭 Gluten-Free Disney Tip: Don’t Skip the Ingredient Binder! 💗

Have you spotted the Mickey-shaped Celebration Macaron and Remy Milk Shake at Sunshine Seasons in EPCOT? They looked SO good, and I couldn’t wait to try them! 😍

Sunshine Seasons has an allergy counter, and when ordering, you can ask to see the ingredient binder to check the ingredients and allergens.

I’m so glad I did! 👀

📖 The binder lists the ingredients, with allergens highlighted. The cookie portion contained gluten, which was clearly highlighted. But I also noticed that the cheesecake listed wheat flour, even though gluten wasn’t highlighted in the same way. That was a good reminder to read the full ingredient list, not just rely on the highlights!

So, we customized our Remy Milk Shake without the cheesecake and cookie to avoid those ingredients. And let me tell you… it was absolutely delicious! 🤤💗

✨ My takeaway: Always ask questions, check the ingredient information, and make sure you understand what’s in your food. The extra step is worth it!

🇮🇸 Iceland with Kids: YES, I’d Do It Again!

🇮🇸 Iceland with kids? Absolutely! ❤️

Iceland is still one of my favorite trips we’ve taken as a family, and honestly, I think it’s an underrated family destination.

There is SO much for kids to see and experience beyond the typical sightseeing. We got to experience:

❄️ Snowmobiling
🧊 Exploring an ice cave
🌊 Waterfalls & black sand beaches
🐴 Icelandic horses
🏔️ Incredible snowy landscapes
🌈 And so many places that honestly felt like another planet!

The best part? The kids were able to experience all of this right alongside us. It wasn’t one of those trips where we were constantly trying to keep everyone entertained—it was the destination itself that kept everyone interested.

And the memories we made as a family? ❤️ Those are the trips I love the most.

☕️ Costa Mesa coffee stop you NEED to know about!

I don’t even like coffee… and I am STILL craving this one. 😂☕

We stopped at Coffee Dose in Costa Mesa, and I honestly think this was the best coffee I’ve ever had!

I got the Basic B*tch 💕😂 and whatever they put in that sweet cream… WOW. 🤤

The whole shop is fun, colorful, and has such a fun personality. They definitely have fun with the “b*tch” theme. 😂💗

And for my gluten-free friends — they were able to tell me which drinks were gluten-free, and I had no issues! 💗

10/10 would go back. And coming from someone who doesn’t even like coffee… that says A LOT. 😂
