The Ricker Family kicked off their European adventure in Rome with a hands-on pasta and tiramisu cooking experience. What a perfect way to spend their first evening—sharing laughs, creating delicious memories, and enjoying an authentic Italian meal together.
I love building itineraries that go beyond sightseeing and create moments families will talk about for years. Plus, after a day of travel, this was the perfect way to stay awake, enjoy a great meal, and set themselves up for a good night's sleep before diving into all the magic Rome has to offer the next day.

🇮🇹 Venice 🇮🇹

Over 1,500 years ago, people fleeing invading armies sought safety in the marshy lagoons of northern Italy. They drove millions of wooden pilings deep into the mud and built an entire city on top of them.

Even more amazing? Those wooden foundations are still supporting many of Venice's buildings today. Because the wood remains submerged in oxygen-poor water, it doesn't rot—in fact, over time it has become as hard as stone.

Today, Venice is made up of more than 100 islands connected by hundreds of bridges, creating one of the most unique cities on Earth.

It's hard to imagine until you're standing there, watching boats glide down what would be streets anywhere else in the world.

Traveling near the end of the pandemic definitely came with its challenges, but we made the most of it.
Turkey taught me a lot, and the ruins here were absolutely fascinating. Standing among places that have existed for thousands of years really puts things into perspective. Our country is still a baby compared to the history held in these grounds.
Travel has a way of reminding me that the world is both incredibly big and surprisingly small. While I’m only here for a short time and just a tiny part of history, I mean the world to the few people in my circle.
Perspective—maybe my second favorite word.

This duo is back from Paris! We started with a sit down of what was on the wish list, must haves, and fun to dos and budget.
They wanted a packed itinerary with a little bit of time here and there for exploring, shopping, and TikTok creating! ha! They ascended Eiffel at dusk and got this AMAZING view of the city! 💞
