When the H family reached out to me, they already knew one thing for sure: they wanted to stay at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort so they could spend their rest day at the Big Blue Pool. 🐠💦

And if you’re wondering what makes a resort pool worth planning a whole rest day around… this one is pretty special!

The Big Blue Pool is the largest pool at a Walt Disney World Resort, and one of my favorite details is something you can only experience once you jump in — Disney music and character voices can actually be heard underwater. It’s one of those little touches that makes staying on Disney property feel extra magical. ✨

But the pool is only one reason I love recommending Art of Animation for the right family:

✨ Disney Skyliner access makes getting to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios easy — and honestly, the Skyliner feels like an attraction all by itself for a lot of kids.

✨ Incredibly immersive theming inspired by Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid. This is one of those resorts where you never really feel like you’ve left the Disney bubble.

✨ Family Suites give larger families extra space, separate sleeping areas, two bathrooms, and a kitchenette — which can make a huge difference during a longer vacation.

✨ Kid-friendly everything. From larger-than-life characters to colorful courtyards and themed pools, there is so much for little Disney fans to explore even when you aren’t in the parks.

✨ A great option for a resort day. Sometimes the best Disney itinerary includes a day where you don’t set foot in a theme park at all.

And this is exactly why I don’t believe there is one “best” Walt Disney World resort.

There is a best resort for your family.

I miss Disneyland. Like… REALLY miss it. 💛✨

There’s something about walking into Disneyland that feels different every single time — the music, the little details, the snacks, the rides, and that feeling of being completely in the moment.

And looking at this picture has me very ready to go back.

The good news? 2027 Disneyland vacations are already on my mind, and if you’ve been thinking about making next year the year you finally go — or go back — now is the perfect time to start planning.

Hello, September. 🍂✨

There is something about the first day of September that makes it feel like fall is officially allowed to begin… even if the weather hasn’t gotten the memo yet. 😂

For me, fall means cooler evenings, pumpkin everything, and some of my favorite Disney memories. There is just something extra magical about seeing Main Street dressed for the season, with the pumpkins glowing and all of those little fall details everywhere you look. 🎃

So yes, I am completely ready for spooky season, fall travel, and all the cozy memories that come with it.

There are beach days… and then there are beach days you know you’re going to remember forever. 🌊☀️

One of my favorite beach memories was our day at Little French Key in Roatán. The water was gorgeous, the girls were happy, we played in the sand, relaxed together, and somehow ended up making memories with a pig in the water too. 😂🐷

This is the kind of travel I love most. Not just going somewhere beautiful, but having those little moments together that become the stories you keep telling after the trip is over.

So for National Beach Day, I’m sharing one of mine. 💙

I will always choose the trip, the beach day, the adventure, and the chance to make another memory with my family.

This is SUCH exciting news for my El Paso-area families! 🚢✨

Disney Cruise Line is coming back to BOTH San Diego and Galveston — two Disney cruise ports we can actually drive to from El Paso! 🙌

That means a Disney vacation without necessarily having to add flights to the equation, and I am incredibly excited about the possibilities these sailings open up for families in our area.

🌴 From San Diego:
Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will sail 3- to 7-night Baja and Mexican Riviera itineraries, with destinations including Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas and Catalina Island.

🏝️ From Galveston:
Disney Magic will return with 4- to 7-night sailings, and select 7-night Bahamian cruises will even visit both Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point AND Disney Castaway Cay. Two Disney island destinations on one vacation? Yes, please. 😍

And here’s the important part…
