3 mistakes I see first-time Disney families make 👀🏰
Planning a Disney trip is exciting… but it can also become overwhelming FAST.
Here are 3 common mistakes I see first-time families make:
1️⃣ Trying to do TOO much
A lot of families feel pressure to “maximize every minute.”
But Disney is not enjoyable when everyone is exhausted, overstimulated, and melting down by 2 PM. 😅
Sometimes the best plans include:
✔️ resort breaks
✔️ pool time
✔️ slower mornings
✔️ prioritizing favorites instead of EVERYTHING
You do not have to do it all to have an amazing trip.
2️⃣ Choosing a resort based ONLY on price
The cheapest option is not always the best fit.
Transportation, room location, walking distance, skyliner access, and midday break convenience can completely change your experience.
Sometimes spending slightly more saves a LOT of stress and time.
3️⃣ Waiting too long to plan the important details
Dining reservations, Lightning Lane strategy, special experiences, and even resort availability can make a huge difference in your trip.
Many people don’t realize how early some things should be planned.
Disney planning has become a lot more complex than it used to be, and honestly, that’s why I enjoy helping families sort through it all. ❤️
