Back to Alaska. Sorry I took a break from the recap. I was booking a lot of Disney trips for a few of you!

Next morning was Glacier viewing. You have to be prepared to be up and about early on your Glacier viewing day. We did let the boys sleep a bit and then we had some time on our balcony just taking it in.

Bryan was on the treadmill from 5 AM on and saw some whales and seals. We saw a whale tail at one point!

The Glacier was gorgeous but just the views in and out were stunning and not something I'll take for granted.

We then fed the boys some MORE sorrento's pizza (the pizza guy knew my boys at this point in the cruise) and we split up off of the ship.

Bryan, my dad, Keiran and Adam took a helicopter ride to the glacier. They got to walk around and drink some glacier water.

My mom, the boys and I did a gold panning excursion. We all came home with some gold and this was something Henry was really looking forward to.

We all then met up at the famous Gold Creek Salmon bake. The salmon was fresh and I would highly recommend doing it at least once.

Next port stop was Sitka. No one had any port excursions booked so we got off of the ship , took the free shuttle, and walked to the Sitka National Historical Park.

The walk wasn't bad (unless you count the boys needing to climb 10 of these statues we walked past.) It was misting on this day but that meant we actually got to use our rain gear! There was no cost to enter the park.

There's a large collection of totems here and we got to see a bald eagle very close.

Afterwards we had lunch in town (honestly a forgettable meal, I should have done more research on options but we were hungry).

Prepare for a bit of a line for the shuttle to get you back to the ship.

It was a pretty town but we would probably book an excursion here next time or pick an itinerary that goes to Skagway.

Enjoy the video from dinner that night of Simon jamming out and Henry eating his steak (he had one almost every night).

Our first port stop was Ketchikan, Alaska.

We got in first thing in the morning. My mom, Keiran, Adam, and I went to a ziplining excursion! My dad, Bryan, and the boys went on a hike and to explore Ketchikan.

Zip lining was really fun. It was beautiful and a well run program. We were too early for the salmon but your chances of seeing salmon and bears later on in the summer would be really high on this course.

After ziplining we got to hang out and have an Alaskan beer. I had a smoked salmon bagel and it was amazing.

We met back up with the other 4 for a lumberjack show. Super fun and definitely something you should do once!

We then walked around town to shop, had a crepe, and then headed back onto the ship for dinner.

They had a family dance party before dinner that the boys had a blast at too.

Did you hear the news!

Disney Cruise Line just announced that they are going to have a limited number of sailings out of New York, New York next year.

There are only 7 sailings, starting end of September 2027 through beginning of November.

These are all on the Wish and go to either Bermuda, San Juan, or Canada.

If you've always wanted to go on Disney Cruise Line but factoring flights into the cost priced you out... this is a great time to go!

Warning though... you will be hooked! We are!

Message me if you're interested in looking at dates or for a quote!

Embarkation was pretty easy for this ship, but not as easy as I previously experienced on Utopia.

We had a bit of a line to get checked in and probably got on the ship around 12:30-1.

We headed straight to our muster station and got that item checked off. We then dropped off our things in the stateroom, grabbed some lunch, and then went to the pool!

If you have a kiddo still in diapers... be prepared for how small of a section your kid will be able to swim in. Most have a splash pad or teeny tiny pool, so just be prepared. It's maritime law and not cruise line specific.

We had dinner in the main dining room and then Henry, my dad and I watched some Captain America on the pool deck but it was pretty cold!

Day 2 was a day at sea. Water was pretty choppy so be prepared for this if you head out of Seattle. We had lots of food, snacks, and the boys spent a lot of time duck hunting! It was a pretty chill day.

That afternoon Henry and I got to do bumper cars on the ship! This was really fun and is first come first serve.

For our Alaskan cruise, we flew into Seattle two days early. This was the right call because it was a long travel day on Saturday and gave us all day Sunday to recover, adjust to the time change, and explore Seattle!

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Seattle. It was a fantastic location, great service, clean hotel.

We had pizza from a hole in the wall bar Saturday night and it was Fantastic!

Saturday we walked to the Pike Place Market and got to try lots of yummy foods. We watched the World Cup finals from our hotel room then went back out and walked to the Olympic Sculpture park and then to dinner at Ivar's.

Monday morning we got up and picked up breakfast from Biscuit B*tch and then took the pre-arranged hotel transportation to the cruise port!

More to come on that!

Geez have I been MIA. These boys keep me busy and my spare time has been going to planning trips, and I've neglected this page.

We've had a Disney trip, Vermont trip, and Alaskan cruise this summer. I'm going to try to start recapping the Alaskan cruise soon since that's so new.

In terms of planning, I've been booking Disney trips, Royal Caribbean cruises, Disneyland, Princess cruises, all inclusives, and miscellaneous hotels.

Please reach out if you need help with any type of trip. Remember that I don't charge a planning fee if I would get any sort of commission paid from the travel vendor! Supporting me supports these cutie pies.

Enjoy the sneak peak from our trip!

Happy Mother's day Everyone!

These two are why I do what I do every day. The hours spent making phones calls, building itineraries. researching, and planning.

Your support helps me to take these kiddos (and Bryan) on vacations and make so many memories. I love it and wouldn't trade it.

Let’s talk about food on Royal Caribbean.

You have a main dining room that will serve three course dinners every evening, then served breakfast and lunch. Our food here was good but not amazing but your experience will vary on that depending on the ship.

The buffet (the windjammer) is open for all three meals. We found that they served some of the specialty food in the evening that was on the menu for the main dining room dinner. We found it to not be too chaotic but we weren’t eating at prime meal periods.

Many of the ships have a solarium bistro that is in the adults only section of the ship. We loved breakfast and dinner here. The quality and selection were great and it was less chaotic. We did see some kids eating here so it seems they can eat there but not go out into the actual solarium.

There’s of course a frozen yogurt place included. This ship had a hot dog house, grab and go cart that had really great food, and two places that you could grab fruit and sandwiches. Park place was a highlight for me for breakfast.

This is just examples of the food places included in your cruise, we did not do any specialty dining.
