--Watermelon BLOWOUT sale - for Labor Day weekend.
--The Fruit Salad isn't quite like the photo; we make our own mixture of fruit, in a sweet juice.
--Wheat Bread is made here in our bakery as well.
--Yellow peaches, white peaches, yellow nectarines, and white nectarines are on the fruit table currently. The yellow nectarines have been my favorite!
--WE WILL BE CLOSED ON LABOR DAY - SEPT 1

--Full swing into August - peaches of all shapes, sizes, and colors!
--Plums appearing sporadically.
--There's still time to grab sweet corn, watermelon, (seedless, orange, yellow, seeded...) or cantaloupe.
--Hibiscus plants from Springside Nursery - these are the hardy perennials! Mix or match with the butterfly bush or the hydrangea for a deal! Priced at $24 ea. or 2 for $45.
--Just in case you've never tried it, the Fried Chicken Breast is a lunch meat that tastes very nearly like fried chicken! Ask for a sample if you want to taste-test before you buy.
--Italian Cheese Blend is a blend of Asiago and American cheese. Coming from Land O' Lakes it's sure to be good!
--The potato salad is our own recipe, made right here in the kitchen.

--The days are already starting to feel shorter...where has time gone? Have I done anything that counts?
--Take notice that the John F Martin slab bacon is on sale! We normally carry the Wehry's bacon, but because they were unable to meet the demand, we had to substitute with JFM. So while supplies still last, JFM's slab bacon is on sale!
--The watermelon sale continues - all watermelons are $7.99 while supplies last. Prices subject to change without advance warning. Your chance to try an orange or a yellow one, just to see what they're like!
--Yellow peaches, white peaches, donut peaches - a peach for every preference! And those nectarines - so sweet, juicy, and very sticky!

--Summer weather is finally here!!! And the days are already getting shorter...
--Schlegel's peaches and apricots are in; Lancaster County sweet corn & tomatoes, delicious watermelon (seeded, seedless, or yellow) & cantaloupe, NJ & local blueberries, sweet cherries (red and white)...just a few of the items trending in produce right now!
--The Harvard Beets are made right here in our kitchen; and the zucchini bread is made here as well. The zucchini bread comes with nuts or without nuts - whatever your preference is!

--White Cherries and dark red cherries are here - delicious and sweet. Now selling by the pound instead of by the pint!
--NJ Blueberry season may be a bit shorter than usual this year, due to the abundance of rain. Get your cases now! Some local organic blueberries available as well.
--Watermelon, cantaloupe, sweet corn, etc. continue to be hot items in this hot weather!

-July is just around the corner...that means we are nearly halfway through 2025!
-We will be closed as usual on July 4 - watch for the filled donuts earlier in the week!
-Jersey Blueberries are here already. That means that blueberry shortcake is on the bakers' list again!
-Come see us to find out what other produce is in season. If you're lucky, you'll find some strawberries (a later variety) or local blackberries. The blackberries don't hang around for very long though.
Keep up the good work, whatever place you are called to fill.

- Isn't that 'comforting' - God comforts me so I can comfort others!

- Strawberries have been very disappointing this week so far - we have good hopes for the next variety that is just ripening. Some sunshine will help the process! Feel free to give us a call before you make the drive to see if we have berries.
- Lots of other fresh fruit coming in - plums, peaches, apricots and cherries. Sweet corn from GA. Cantaloupe and watermelon have been very good this week!
