F**t Lures 2026 has been a great year of innovation, profile changes and color enhancements.

VIG, Javelin, Flee Flicker, Menace and others. His latest profile enhancement is with what was once called the Chris Crinkle Worm. Something I created with a clay mold and a homemade silicon mold.

We used in colder water on a silicon football jig in late October through March when ice allowed. We used it on the BWA-TV and it became super popular with winter smallmouth chasers. I couldn’t keep up with pouring, and Vinner Baits helped us produce for a couple of years.

Al Winco contacted me and asked if he could refine it and changed the name to G&W Worm (initials of our last names) and created his Stand Up Football jig for this finesse profile. Soon became a finesse bait used year round by anglers.

It kind of fell second to the Chillee Willee and while used, it went a little quiet. Lee from F**t liked it as a drop shot bait (discussed calling it the Drop-F**ty) and we thought it might be a good option for a Ned Profule if the nose was redisigned to match the diameter Midwest Jig. And so Gen-III was given birth. Great job Lee!

Slapshot was released today. I have caught 1000’s of cold water bass on this profile and I can’t wait for Monday when my order comes and I can start the new chapter for Gen3!

Dave and Bob had such fun Spring fishing the Main and on the North Branch with us, that they wanted to intoduce buddies John H and John P to North Camp. These 4 normally spend their days chasing striped bass on the beach, but they traded the salt for a couple of days on the river.

Was wickedly cold and windy at times with morning temps in the 30’s and a high of only 50 Saturday.

The guys laughed and said the fish are already wet and they were right. 4 guys, 2 boats, 2 days and over 350 bass and walleye caught. John P even caught a bonus pike.

Hard and Soft Jerks worked with the 4.75” NottaFluke from F**T Lures, especially in Pearl and Blue Glimmer. Cranks worked some, and of course Ned craw profiles in the 2.5” Attention Seeker and BugZ from Z-Man Fishing Products.

Way too many photos taken, just sharing a handful. Lots of catching, lots of fun. Captain Mark did an excellent job, enjoyed teaming up with him.

Richard contacted Glenn to inquire about the Main Stem Susquehanna since he’s never fished there.

Glenn explained how the water temps were dropping and recent rains provided a quick bump in levels making it “Go Time” if he was interested.

Richard was excited to hear that and jumped on the opportunity. He and his fishing buddy Port made the trek down from NY.

The Susky didn’t disappoint and showed why it's considered a top destination for river smallmouth. Numbers were very good with some monster bass in the mix.

Jerkbaits and swims were all that was needed to get the job done. Thanks guys for choosing Reel River for your first Susky adventure!

Tough fishing this morning with a great member of our support team. Bob Odell of Trolling Motors 101 joined us at North Camp.

Man we could NOT find size this morning and we looked hard. Slow bite with a few good strikes on TW but for the most part size eluded us. Bob landed 20+ and I added about 10. Bob’s best are below, and the fish look better than they were 😂

Fun morning but I need to get him out on a better bite. Unfortunately he had to leave before the afternoon bite and of course, it was a good bite then 🤦

If you need any Trolling Motor or marine work done on your fishing vessel, contact Bob and his team of guys. They have saved our cans a number of times.

Rich and Drew picked an absolutely beautiful day. The weather couldn’t have been better and the bass cooperated, although Rich may have nightmares- he dropped 2 monsters today.

I guess it’s rust from his time off the water recovering from back surgery. Top water was solid as was the F**T Lures Seeker and Goats 🐐 from Z-Man Fishing Products.

Bass surfaced and looked long and hard at Jerks today, but they wouldn’t budge. Beautiful weather and great fun. Thanks for choosing Reel River Adventures guys! See you both soon.
