One of our many recent upgrades to production. Added a to our VF-2SS with a hydraulic Kurt vise and seamlessly integrated with a Mill-Assist. Now we are able to make a product family complete in a one flow cycle, 100% automated.

Wow! Yesterday was fun hosting the "Connections & Cocktails" Plant Tour here at CARR Machine & Tool, Inc. that was sponsored and facilitated by the Technology & Manufacturing Association (TMA). I was able to share our 51 year history, talk about the evolution of the industry and walk our shop floor with my peers. We even had Mayor Johnson of Elk Grove Village, IL here to speak.

But the biggest surprise was being honored with our 50 year member certificate by my longtime friend Kent Gladish at TMA. This guy has been instrumental in my "association" with the "association". It's been a cool 20 years I've known this guy and I have to say I'm going to miss him when he moves and retires in July.

Find people that encourage you, that are authentic, and aren't in it for themselves. Stick with them and you'll both reap the rewards of that relationship. I've been humbled to meet a handful of these people in my career. Thank you to all of you. Cheers!

What a great time we had hosting the Valley Industrial Association of Illinois Factory Tour here a few weeks ago.

It’s great to be networking again and spending time with industry peers, many I haven’t seen since pre-covid.

Beyond humbling to share our 50 year, 3 generation, family legacy to old and new friends and be able to have them tour our new state-of-the-art facility. We’re invested big time into our infrastructure, CNC equipment, robotic automation, inspection technology, including CMMs, AS 9100 credentialing, ProShop ERP, and of course our team. The feedback we received was awesome.

Thanks to all the staff at Valley Industrial Association of Illinois for facilitating.

Today is the date: December 2, 1972 was the birth of CARR Machine & Tool, Inc. 50 years and 3 generations later we're still here. I only wish Richard could see the progress. From the early days of him turning parts on a Cincinnati lathe in the garage of our home (below) to the high-tech 5 axis CNC and robotic technology that is in our 2023 future. It's quite a moment and we are all humbled.

All of us at CARR Machine & Tool, Inc. are pumped to share that we just purchased new technology for significant new work. It is a union of two powerhouse brands; (2) DN Solutions America (Doosan) DVF 5000 5 axis CNC with 120 Tools and 18k spindle integrated with (2) Trinity Robotics Automation 40 Pallet robotic cell. We believe this will significantly increase our throughput and utilize lights out machining. Let's go 2023!

In honor of 50 years in business we carefully crafted this cinematic Identity Video to showcase our lineage; where we came from, where we're at today and where we are going. From our early years utilizing Bridgeport milling machines all the way to current day using high -tech 5 axis CNC machines with robots. Technology keeps changing and so do we.

More importantly, a company can not run on its own. There are unique people inside of that facility that are all an integral part of our operations. We are proud of our people, our customers and our vendors. Working hard everyday to keep the aspirations of our founder alive.
