Travel tip #3: Plan ahead, but also be flexible!
When it comes to planning a trip, you’ve got lodging, transportation, and maybe a few excursions or a restaurant you’re dying to try.
But just as important is scheduling “free time”. Give yourself the freedom to take that extra hike or choose to lay on the beach all day.
Vacations are not all about doing, but also to relax & enjoy the company you’re with. Allow the opportunity to adventure your way.

In honor of I wanted to share our honeymoon trip to Niagara Falls!
Beautiful waterfalls. Mist fills the air. Overwhelming sounds of raging water.
I’ve always loved waterfalls and planned a few trips just to see them.

Travel tip #2: Book airfare in advance
The travel industry is suffering from plane delays & flight cancellations, so the demand for remaining flights keeps increasing. Higher demand = higher cost.
Yes, some airlines offer flash sales for closer booking windows, but there’s no guarantee a seat will still be available or that you an grab your ideal flight time.
So if you’ve already got plans or are looking to make them, I recommend you book airfare now!

Dapper Day at the Disney Parks is around the corner!
Never heard of Dapper Day? It is an unofficial event hosted by where guests are encouraged to “step out in style”.
Events happen both in Fall & Spring at Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World, and Disneyland Paris. The next one is November 6th at Disneyland!
The Dapper Day Expo is also held that weekend in the Disneyland Hotel, where you can shop vendors selling various vintage and contemporary classic clothing & accessories.
I’ve been to Dapper Day 4 times and love the excuse to dress up inspired by 1940’s fashion.
Maybe I’ll see you there sometime!

I’ll go anywhere if you tell me there’s a beautiful waterfall. I’ve even planned trips based around seeing a waterfall.
Yosemite National Park is open all year round and each season has its advantages. My favorite time is late Spring, where most of the snow has melted, allowing for peak water flow, and before the heat of summer comes.

My first travel tip for you is: Make a packing list before your trip.
It happens almost every time I start packing my bag that I find myself out of room! I think “I’m only going for 2 days” yet every nook and cranny of that suitcase is stuffed.
Making a list ahead of time gives you a better idea on how much you’re wanting to pack so you can do so neatly & efficiently!
And especially when traveling somewhere new, there’s often an item that you wish you had. Making the list allows time to find & pack it!

Milford Sound, the Fjordlands of New Zealand
By far my favorite sight of our 12-night trip. Calm ocean waters, cascading waterfalls, lush green EVERYWHERE.
Of course, my main desire for going to New Zealand was to explore the various film locations for the Lord of the Rings movies.
My husband and I constantly talk about wanting to go back, and revisiting our favorite locations and venture to new ones.

Zion National Park is one of the natural beauties you can find in Utah.
Take a guided hike down the canyon.
Tour the area in an ATV, Jeep, or on horseback.
Sleep in a tent, rent an RV, or stay at one of the beautiful lodges nearby.
Best times to visit are late spring after the snow melts or fall after the hot summer & monsoon season.
