We’re excited to welcome Jodi Zellmer Witt as Manager of our Elkhorn office, serving Lake Geneva and Walworth County.

Jodi brings more than 20 years of experience in the title industry, with a background as a closing agent, escrow officer, and leader in the Walworth County market. She is widely known for her professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to guide transactions smoothly from contract to closing.

SOUTHEASTERN TITLE, LLC COVID-19 UPDATE

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers issued a public order directing the closure of all non-essential businesses beginning Tuesday, March 24th, 2020. Southeastern Title, LLC is considered an essential business, and as such, we are still open and closing transactions. Based on the terms of the order, we have implemented the following steps effective immediately and until further notice.

We understand your concerns surrounding the COVID-19 crisis and therefore we continue to maintain social distancing requirements.

Unless documents have been pre-signed, all transactions will take place in the parking lot and there will be no one allowed into the building. Whenever possible, we will email copies of documents to the parties for review, a day ahead of closing, so that they can address any questions or concerns they may have. This will limit the signing time on the day of closing, and get everyone on their way as quickly as possible.

Southeastern Title, LLC will keep all parties informed before, during and after the closing process, and will work with you to arrange for delivery of post-closing documents.

Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your transaction and for your cooperation during this trying time. Our top priority is to keep the

Southeastern Title family and our customers safe and healthy.

This is lengthy but very important, please read it!!!

Southeastern Title, LLC has made the difficult but necessary decision to close our office to the general public until further notice, in an effort to keep our employees, as well as you, safe and healthy!

Only buyers and sellers in a sale transaction, and borrowers in a refinance transaction will be allowed into the building. All other parties or additional family members will be required to wait in their vehicles. If you are the buyer/borrower or seller and you prefer, for your own safety, not to come into the building, again, we are more than happy to come out to you. We have a covered drive through car port at the back of the building to shelter us from the elements if necessary.

Only one party to the transaction will be allowed in at a time. Once they are done signing, we will sanitize the closing room, and then come and retrieve the other party for signing. Upon completion, that party will return to their vehicle and we will bring copies/checks, etc. to them as soon as completed.

If you need to pick up a check and/or documents, please call 262-723-5566 to let us know you’re here and we will be more than happy to bring it out to you.

If you are simply dropping something off, I have installed a locked drop box just inside the vestibule for you to do so without entering the office.

This is a very difficult time for all of us and we truly appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work diligently to close your transaction as efficiently and safely as we possibly can.

Dear Customers!

In light of the spread of the COVID-19 virus, Southeastern Title, LLC is adhering to the suggestions given by the Center for Disease Control (CDC). At this time, we are taking precautionary steps and ask that only the necessary individuals attend the closing.
We will update you as things may change.

If you aren’t feeling well, please let us know right away and we will work on figuring out how to get your transaction closed.
Please pass this information on to your customers as we may not have their email addresses.

We are all in this together and together we will get through this.
