Now that we're home and I've had a little time to think about our week aboard Norwegian Luna, I thought I'd share the 10 things I loved most about Norwegian's newest ship.
Interestingly, some of my favorites weren't the big, flashy things. They were the little things that just made cruising easier and more comfortable.
1. ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐ฌ! ๐๏ธ
Hands down, the most comfortable bed and pillows we've had on any ship we've sailed so far. We slept SO well.
2. ๐
๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐ค๐๐ ๐ ๐น
This was incredibly easy to use. Order your drink, show your card, and you're done. No receipts to sign after every drink and no gratuity line to zero out. It really did feel like "freedom" onboard.
3. ๐๐ก๐จ๐ฌ๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐จ๐ง๐ฒ ๐๐ก๐๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ!
High backs, comfortable seats...and absolutely nap-worthy. ๐ It's a small thing, but if you love sitting on your balcony as much as we do, it matters!
4. ๐ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฐ๐๐ซ ๐ฟ
Our standard balcony cabin had a large rain showerโeasily the roomiest shower we've had in a standard balcony cabin. Loved it.

One of our favorite places to eat! Sit down, order whatever sounds good from the tablet at your table, and food from the different restaurants starts arriving. Quick, easy and deliciousโand you can try a little bit of everything.
6. ๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฝ๏ธ
We really enjoyed the specialty restaurants this trip. We had three specialty meals included with our Free at Sea package, which gave us a great excuse to try several different restaurants. Our favorite was Cagney's. Second favorite was Palermo. Excellent food!
7. ๐๐ญ๐๐ซ๐๐ฎ๐๐ค๐ฌ ๐๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ โ
We loved having a full Starbucks onboard, and because we'd upgraded to Free at Sea Plus, our Starbucks drinks were included. It quickly became part of our morning routine.
8. ๐๐จ ๐ฐ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฏ๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ! ๐
This one really surprised us. Luna is a large ship with capacity for more than 3,500 passengers, yet we never once had to wait long for an elevator or fight our way onto one. After some very different experiences on other ships, we definitely noticed!
9. ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐ข๐ง ๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ฆ ๐ก
A simple idea, but so smart. There's a light system outside the cabin that lets your steward know whether you'd like the room made up or don't want to be disturbed. No signs hanging on the door and, most importantly, no early-morning knocks!

๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฌ โญ
We upgraded for this sailing and felt it was a great value for us. The high-speed Starlink internet worked great, we enjoyed the upgraded w**e choices, and having Starbucks included was a definite bonus.
Overall, I think what surprised me most about Norwegian Luna was how easy everything felt. She's a big ship with plenty going on, but so many little details are designed to make the experience comfortable and uncomplicated.
Would we sail Norwegian Luna again?
