OLD vs. NEW || Name sign on the hull of Wonder of the Seas ⚓️

During the construction of Wonder of the Seas the ship received the original font size on her bow, just as the rest of the Royal Caribbean fleet. But besides Odyssey of the Seas, because she was the first ship in the fleet to have the huge name sign on her hull. Odyssey already got her eye-catching sign at the shipyard, but Wonder didn’t.

When Wonder arrived in Marseille in November 2021 for her finishing touches before her grand debut, Royal Caribbean decided to re-paint the ship’s name to the new big style. And that’s how the largest cruise ship on earth sails with one of the biggest name signs at sea!

Time for a big celebration! 🎉

Today is finally the day that all 26 Royal Caribbean ships are back at sea!
Rhapsody of the Seas is the last ship of the fleet to return back to service. She will offer her guests Mediterranean cruises sailing out of several European ports! ⚓️

Royal Caribbean has had to suspend all of its cruises in the spring of 2020 due to COVID-19. In June 2021 they brought back their first ship to service, Adventure to of the Seas. In a time span between June 2021 and May 2022 they brought back 23 ships, and even launched 2 brand new ships: Odyssey & Wonder!
And now it’s finally time, after 2 years, to bring back their last ship!

The fleet is back at sea, and they are here to stay! Cheers to many more adventures and unforgettable memories for all who sail on the beautiful ships! 🥂
