Job Posting #2 - Server
As a server here at the Big K Guest Ranch, you’ll help create memorable dining experiences by providing warm, attentive service to our guests. Your communication skills, positive attitude, and attention to detail will play a key role in delivering excellent service and creating a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Server:
Guest Service: Greet guests, take food and drink orders, and deliver items promptly and accurately.
Dining Room Management: Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and maintained throughout the dining experience.
Teamwork: Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and work closely with other team members to ensure smooth service.
Cleanliness & Organization: Help maintain a clean and organized dining area, following proper sanitation procedures. Including cleaning and assisting in resetting the kitchen and dish room for the following shift.
Special Events & Functions: Assist with catering and special events, ensuring guests receive the same high level of service.
Requirements:
Experience: Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a must.
Certifications & Transportation:
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Valid food handler’s card (or ability to obtain one upon hire)
Skills & Abilities:
Friendly, professional attitude and strong communication skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented and dependable
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
