🦅 Bald Eagle Plumage Progression: From Juvenile to Majestic Adult 🦅

Bald eagles don’t get their iconic white head and yellow beak overnight—it takes nearly 5 years! This chart shows their glow-up from scruffy brown juveniles to majestic adults.

👀 Fun Fact: As of recent estimates, there are about 1,500 nesting pairs of bald eagles in Florida—that’s roughly 3,000 adult bald eagles!

🌴 Florida is actually home to one of the largest bald eagle populations in the U.S., right behind Alaska and Minnesota. Our lakes, wetlands, and coastlines make the perfect eagle paradise.

📍You can spot them soaring around places like Lake Apopka, the St. Johns River, and even near the coast!
