Today brings an end to our 2026 Smallmouth Bass season on the Umpqua River. The low water made for some amazing fishing Early on, and it continues to be great. Great week back on the river. Non-stop Bass action with some huge ones. We ended up catching a salmon on bass tackle. Kids are loving the 50-75 bass a day they are catching and adults are loving the numbers and targeting the big ones. We fish on the most comfortable Driftboat on the Umpqua River that can easily fish three adults or two adults and two children.
