Blueberries Will Fill the Streets of Ellenville on Saturday

ELLENVILLE, N.Y. — Liberty Square will host over 100 vendors this weekend as the Ellenville-Wawarsing Chamber of Commerce presents its 37th annual Blueberry Festival on Saturday, Aug. 8.

The daylong community event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown Ellenville. Admission is free, and the festival will take place rain or shine.

Organizers have scheduled a wide selection of local craft and food vendors, along with live music performances in Liberty Square throughout the day.

Family activities will center around a dedicated "Kidz Zone," featuring free yard games and crafts for children. Festivalgoers can also take part in traditional event highlights, including a blueberry muffin contest for amateurs and a blueberry donut eating contest for children.

The event aims to showcase local small businesses and regional artisans while celebrating the area's agricultural history.
