What a treat!! Chantrelles on ricotta toast 😋 Just so happened we were in town when these shrooms emerged. The chef at one of our favorite restaurants in Blue Ridge, foraged them on his own property! Had no idea when buying our little cabin in the woods that these mountains occasionally have the perfect climate for chanterelles mushrooms - heavy rainfall in a coniferous forest, followed by several days of continuous heat and high humidity.

The Roof is one of our favorite spots to grab a bite, a brew and enjoy the views when in Ellijay…especially when traveling with Olive 🐾🐶 and if they have hummingbird cake on the menu…get it!!! You will not be disappointed! 😋
