🎯 Carters Lake (Ellijay, GA)
Water Temp: 82°F
We’ve been putting clients on solid stripers and hybrids using downlined herring. The bite is hot around the mouths of major creek arms, over 80–100 feet of water, with fish suspended around 50 feet. Sunny days have been the key — they’ve really turned the fish on!

🎯 Blue Ridge Lake (Blue Ridge, GA)
Water Temp: 78–80°F
Targeting spotted bass and walleye with freelined and downlined herring has been working great, especially on main lake points and near the tower at the dam. We’re also catching fish on drop shots, shakey heads, and small forward facing sonar minnows
