I will be attending the 2018 Clean Label Conference March 26-28, 2018, at the Westin Hotel in Itasca, Ill. This will be my 2nd year attending. Last year I gave a presentation on clean label for gluten free bakery products. This year I will be attending the first day session on hydrocolloids presented by TIC. Then during the sessions I will be a panel moderator and a diligent listener of the presentations. I learn so much during these sessions. Hope to see you there!

I have been off social media for a long time. Partly due to my slowness in making it part of my business activity and partly due to being very busy preparing to launch a gluten free and vegan dry mix prepared foods business. My Technical Research Paper submission entitled "Applicability of tamarind gum for gluten-free pan bread using a simple starch bread formula" has been accepted for presentation at IFT17 in Las Vegas, NV, June 25 - 28, 2017. I found out I hit a milestone with Researchgate. I have now achieved over 100 views of my publications during the past two months. I'm impressed with the reception, and more motivated than ever to continue publishing!

I presented my poster Monday and met many wonderful scientists during the 2.5 hour display.

I was so impressed that I will present 2 or 3 papers next year!
