Tanglewood Nature Center & Museum has begun our public phase of fundraising for the Tanglewood Treetop Walkway Project! The goal for this phase is to reach $1,000,000.
The Tanglewood Treetop Walkway will give a panoramic look at the northern mixed hardwood forests. Visible from the walkway will also be the rolling hills, large valleys, and surrounding topography resulting from the glacial movement nearly 20,000 years ago. Visitors can observe the forest from a bird’s-eye view and gain a new perspective of the ecosystem.
The goal of this project is to bring visitors into the treetops where they will encounter wildlife in its natural habitat. Along the way there will be engaging educational signage and a thrilling emergent tower. The Tanglewood Treetop Walkway will also add to the existing curriculum and programs we offer to visiting schools and our summer camps.
We aim to attract birders, artists, photographers, educators, students, and families, both from our local region and beyond. By drawing in visitors with diverse interests, we hope to boost tourism, spark creativity, support education, and generate meaningful revenue that strengthens our entire community.
Make a lasting impact, donate today to the Treetop Walkway! Every cent brings us one step closer. Visit: https://www.tanglewoodnaturecenter.com/Treetop/
