I just got back from Secrets Playa Blanca, and I have to say… I’m already ready to go back! 😍

This resort was absolutely beautiful. The property is gorgeous, everything was incredibly clean, and you could tell how much attention is paid to keeping the resort looking and feeling amazing.

But the BEACH… WOW! 🌊😍 It was definitely one of my favorite parts of the trip. The water, the views, the sand — it was exactly what you picture when you think of a beautiful Mexican beach vacation. I could have spent all day there!

The service was also so good. Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely wanted us to have a great experience. That kind of service makes such a difference when you’re on vacation.

There was also a nice variety of entertainment and activities throughout the stay. Whether you wanted to participate in something or just relax by the pool or beach, there were options without feeling like you had to be on the go all the time.

And let’s talk about the food, because it deserves its own shoutout! 🤤 There was a great variety of dining options, and everything we had was delicious. I loved having different choices throughout the stay and getting to try something new.

Overall, Secrets Playa Blanca checked so many boxes for me — gorgeous beach, beautiful and clean resort, amazing service, great food, plenty to do, and an atmosphere that made it easy to just relax and enjoy being on vacation.

That low cruise fare can be a little misleading. 🚢
The price you see first is often just the starting point.

Before you book, make sure you’ve thought about the full picture:

• taxes and port fees
• gratuities
• drink packages
• Wi-Fi
• specialty dining
• shore excursions
• hotel, flights, or transportation to the port

Sometimes the cheapest cruise fare is not actually the cheapest cruise overall.

One of the most common travel misconceptions is thinking “all-inclusive” means the exact same thing everywhere.

It doesn’t. ✈️🌴

“All-inclusive” is a category, but every resort defines that experience a little differently.

At one resort, “all-inclusive” may cover:
✅ meals, ✅ standard drinks, ✅ a few non-motorized activities, and ✅ basic entertainment.

At another, it might also include:
✨ premium dining, ✨ top-shelf drinks, ✨ room service, ✨ airport transfers, ✨ kids’ clubs, ✨ water sports, ✨ gratuities, and ✨ more included amenities overall.

And then there are things that may not be included, depending on the property:
❌ excursions, ❌ spa treatments, ❌ premium restaurants, ❌ upgraded alcohol, ❌ private experiences, and ❌ certain activities or services.

That’s why comparing all-inclusives based on the name alone can be misleading. Two resorts may both be “all-inclusive,” but the actual value and experience can feel very different.

This is also where a travel advisor can really help — not just by finding an all-inclusive resort, but by helping you sort through the details so you know what you’re really getting.

Because the goal is not just to book an all-inclusive.
It’s to book the right one.
