The blue waters are back along the coast, this time on Emerald Isle, North Carolina The light trades winds, lack of rain, and persistent high pressure causing very warm waters have allowed the Carribean-like waters to appear. It's been spotted up and down the South Carolina coast and now into parts of the North Carolina coastline. No telling how long it will last; rainfall and winds could bring it to an end very quickly. Enjoy it while you can.
