With over 40 years of San Francisco Bay Area fishing experience you can count on Captain Jay Yokomizo and his crew to consistently deliver quality fish, top scores, excellent customer service and a great day of fishing fun. The New Huck Finn is Coast Guard certified for up to 44 passengers/crew but we limit our customer loads to approx. 33 passengers to provide a comfortable fishing experience on a clean, well maintained boat.

6/8/2026. On Monday we had a nice charter from Sacramento that came out with 15 anglers we had limits of striped Bass.

6/10/2026. And today we had 14 anglers we had a open load was a bunch of our regulars that caught limits of striped bass and nine halibut today. We had a beautiful weather all day. We have a light load again tomorrow and hopefully the Fishing continues to be great if you’d like to come out the boat leaves at 5:30 you could book online or show up in the morning.

We had a great group of guys that charted the boat today weather offshore was terrible so we stayed inside and fished. We tried a lot of spots and it paid off with 23 limits of stripe Bass one lingcod and some rock fish we have another charter tomorrow we will see if the Fishing continues to be great. We have plenty of room available throughout the week. We could check our website or give the SHOP a call.

The weather cooperated inside the bay the Wednesday down almost all day and it helped with the drift. We finished the day with 38 striped Bass one halibut for our 22 anglers. We will be back out again tomorrow with another good charter and I’ll check in

Sorry for the late post we had 15 anglers yesterday. They ended up catching 17 striped bass one halibut. We had very windy conditions in the bay. The fish did not start biting till the afternoon tide. Hopefully today will be a little better. Wish us luck and we will report this afternoon

Another light load with excellent Fishing the Baybreeze was blowing on us most of the day, but Fishing was excellent some nice size halibut along with nice size Bass

I forgot to post the last four days of Fishing. We have had excellent Fishing through the weekend
5/22/26 Friday we had 17 anglers and they caught 25 striped Bass .

5/23/26 Saturday we had 19 anglers. They caught 35 striped bass and two halibut.

5/24/26 Sunday we had a charter and went out to the Islands we had 29 anglers 290 rockfish 58 lingcod and 300 sanddabs.

5/25/26 Monday Memorial Day we had 21 anglers they caught 14 striped bass and seven halibut. We have a trip tomorrow and have plenty of room available the rest of the week if you’d like to come out, you can give the SHOP a call or you can book online we hope to see you out on the water.
