It was a beautiful day to get out and golf for a good cause. 🌞

The annual Jack Scott Scramble, held in memory of ESU alumnus Jack Scott (BS 84-Accounting), has now contributed a cumulative total of $104,000 to the Jack and Lori Scott Family Scholarship. Half of the proceeds from the scramble support this scholarship, which helps Emporia State nursing students pursue their calling to care for others.

The scholarship is a meaningful tribute to Jack’s life and legacy and a reflection of the Scott family’s continued commitment to Emporia State students. Learn more https://jackscottscramble.wixsite.com/jack-scott-scramble/about

A great day of golf, connection and Hornet pride at the Cactus Connection Golf Tournament in Tucson. ⛳

For 10 years, ESU alumni have organized this annual tournament to support baseball scholarships for Arizona student-athletes who continue the tradition of coming to Emporia State to play for the Hornets.

Goal Achieved and Exceeded!

The ESU community came together and surpassed our May Momentum Challenge goal of 500 donors, unlocking $85,000 for ESU students.

And we're not done counting yet! Offline gifts are still being processed, and final donor and fundraising totals will be announced later this week.

May Momentum is at 371 donors, and our goal is 500. Thanks to a new $35,000 challenge gift added to the original $50,000 challenge, reaching that goal now means even more for students.

A group of donors has stepped forward with a new $35,000 challenge gift.
That means $85,000 is now waiting to be unlocked for ESU students — but only if we reach 500 donors in the next three days.
