Overmoon An overland honeymoon we took back in 2015. Now we have two sons and don’t post as much. But, hopefully this info is useful for you! Hi, we're Jessie and Ian.

We live in Chicago, by way of Ohio, Texas, and North Carolina. Ian is a filmmaker. Jessie makes toys. In January, 2015 we're hitting the road and heading from Chicago to Zipolite, Mexico. It's our much delayed honeymoon. Backstory:

We're kinda slow. We dated for 10 years before we got married. Now, over a year and half after our wedding, we're just getting around to our honeymoon. Who knows, mayb

e we'll celebrate our 15 year anniversary 30 years from now. Anyway, many years ago, when we were first dating, Jessie said that someday she wanted to buy an old car and drive through Mexico. So, here we are. We bought an old truck to sleep in, packed our flip flips and camping hatchets, and we're taking off. It's our Overmoon.

Sadly, we could not stay in Zipolite forever. We had to pack up our sandy belongings and climb back into Lorraine for our trek back north through Oaxaca city, and eventually home. They say that the roads in Oaxaca are terrible and the drive from the coast to Oaxaca City through Pochutla is no excep…
