We do not have a storefront but we do travel if you want to host a kimono event or invite us to vend at your festival. We're in NY so keep the time difference in mind but we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Today will be day three in Tambasasayama, and I wonder if somehow we can surpass the last two in terms of beauty, charm, artistry, and friendliness. Here are a few photos. A visit to a cotton Weaver's cooperative, Pottery Studio visits, a little sake cup I made, and a peek at the rural landscape. I feel so lucky to have connections with a local guide who makes this also seamless. Who wants to come in 2027?

New This Week: Vintage Katagami Stencils
Used to create the most delicate and intricate designs, these persimmon-paper stencils have been replaced by plastic versions today but their artistry endures as collectable works of art. Most are still usable for the experienced artisan. We have salvaged some in remnants in our mixed sets intended for crafters. Also included are frameable machine-cut versions we made for display.
