Meet my better half 🤍

Since we’re starting to use our page again and we have new followers, I wanted to take some time to introduce ourselves! So to start, meet Sean—my favorite travel partner and the one who makes every adventure so much fun. He's also the one who makes the majority of our tiktoks, while I'll be posting here.

He’s definitely the spontaneous one in our relationship, always ready to hit the road or try something new, and he keeps us laughing the entire time. While I’ll always be a beach girl, he’s happiest in the mountains—give him a trail and he could hike for miles without thinking twice.
And if there’s one thing you should know about him, it’s this… he’s the animal guy. It doesn’t matter where we are—he’s the one spotting them first, figuring out what they are, and immediately wanting to befriend them. Honestly, half our trips turn into little wildlife adventures because of him, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

He makes every place more fun, every trip more memorable, and every moment a little lighter.
I can’t wait for y’all to get to know him (and us) more as you join us on this journey 🤍
Next week… a little about me, and then of course—our pup 🐾

After a little break from posting here, we’re bringing this page back to life.

One of our favorite things to do together is travel- whether that's exploring the great outdoors, finding the best restaurants, or simply making the most of every day. We realized we missed having a place to share those adventures.

So we’re starting fresh this weekend with a trip to Palo Pinto Mountains State Park. Since it’s the first Texas State Park to open in 25 years, it felt like the perfect place for a new beginning for this page too.

The plan is simple: document our travels, share places we love, and hopefully help someone else discover a new adventure along the way.
If you enjoy traveling, scenic views, and unique stops, we'd love to have you follow along!

Have you added Palo Pinto Mountains State Park to your Texas bucket list yet?

Howdy yall!
Here's your reminder to slow down and smell the blue bonnets this spring (at least I think that's how we say it in Texas)!
We started our morning with a visit to Ennis, the Blue Bonnet Capital of Texas. We visited several of their points of interest, and the Meadow View Nature Area on Lake Bardwell had the prettiest views of all.

Happy Saturday!
I don't know about yall, but we are quickly getting tired of this cold spell that has taken over Texas. We were ready to get back out and explore. We needed something closer to home, so we picked out Paris, and it did not disappoint. We watched the sunset over the lake, ate biscoff butter crepes, and strolled the brightly lit downtown, admiring the beautiful (and frozen) fountain. If you are looking for a small town with friendly faces, good food, and the obe and only Eiffel Tower of Texas, then add Paris to your list!

Looking to enjoy some fall foliage in East Texas? Lake Bob Sandlin State Park in Pittsburg, TX will not disappoint! The Lakeview Loop Trail is an easy 0.6 mile trail that meanders through the woods, following the shoreline of Lake Bob Sandlin Cove. While the park is one of the smaller parks in the state, it still packs in plenty of East Texas beauty!
