Let's go to Africa!!

🚨⚠️ Carnival is bringing a new continent to its cruises in 2027… Africa is officially on the map.

For the first time, Carnival Cruise Line is adding Africa to its itineraries.

The sailings will take place on Carnival Sunshine as part of its Mediterranean season between May and October 2027.

The new stops include calls in La Goulette (Tunis), Tunisia, and Tangier, Morocco.

These will be part of 7 to 10-night cruises from Barcelona and Rome, alongside a mix of classic Mediterranean ports.

It does mean you can now visit North Africa on a standard Med itinerary, without needing a longer or more complex sailing.

And for Carnival, this is a first.

There’s also a standout sailing in late July 2027, timed to coincide with a total solar eclipse at sea, with the ship positioned for optimal viewing and special events planned onboard.

All of this is part of a wider push to make these itineraries feel a bit different from the usual Med loop.

It feels like Carnival is adding something new into the mix… and testing how far they can take it.
