Countdown to Fyr Bal: THE COLLAB

For the past several years the Ephraim Business Council has partnered with the Ephraim Historical Foundation on a limited release Fyr Bal design based on original Fyr Bal artwork.

This year, our shirt is based off of a drawing that was prominent on many early Fyr Bal promotional materials back in the mid-1960s, including the poster pictured listing multiple Fyr Bal fundraising events.

This design features the Nordic script and hand drawn flames from the original piece on the front, with the large Fyr Bal fire on the back.

This shirt will be available exclusively at the Ephraim Historical Foundation tent near the front of Village Hall. Sales begin at 10am on Saturday, June 20. Limit of 4 shirts per customer.

We’re interrupting your Fyr Bal content because there’s another great event coming your way on Monday!

Join us for our first Evenings in Ephraim of the summer, with a twist! In addition to our first farmers market and concert in the park of the season, we will be celebrating the completion of the new North End Path!

We have so many incredible businesses on the northern end of Ephraim, and we want to show them off! Businesses will be hosting open houses, giveaways, scavenger hunts, and much more! We even have THREE brand new businesses hosting events who are excited for you to check them out!

After walking the path and checking out all of our amazing local businesses, head to the Red Putter for our first Bondemarked of the season! We have a great selection of local vendors, food trucks, live music, and we’ll even be serving beer to celebrate the occasion!

After the market, head downtown to Harborside Park for a free concert from Talk of the Town, sponsored by Ephraim Village Cottages.

Countdown to Fyr Bal: THE CHIEFTAIN

Since the very first Fyr Bal Festival in 1965, residents of Ephraim have elected their Chieftain. The Fyr Bal Chieftain is someone who has demonstrated a true love and service for the Ephraim community. Someone who has served this community throughout the years, solely because they love this place that they call home.

Any current resident or property/business owner of Ephraim can vote at the Visitor Information Center until 5pm on Friday, June 19.

The 61st Fyr Bal Chieftain is unveiled when they arrive by boat during our Cheiftain ceremony on Saturday evening, and are then gifted the Chieftain medallion, made this year by Ephraim artist John Balistreri of Balistreri Fine Art.

All former Chieftains, or the families of former Chieftains, are encouraged to attend the ceremony and wear their medallion, as they will be recognized during the ceremony.

For ninety-one years, Peninsula Players Theatre has been a cherished seasonal tradition. From strolling the grounds before curtain to watching the sunset on the bay, a night at Peninsula Players Theatre is more than just a show, it’s an experience.

The 2026 season invites audiences to return to this extraordinary setting for live performances that celebrate laughter, mystery, and music. With shows by theatre legends Agatha Christie and Ken Ludwig, the music of Johnny Cash, a Wisconsin supper club mystery, and love from serendipitous meetings, there’s a story just for you.

As America’s oldest professional resident summer theatre, Peninsula Players Theatre remains committed to artistic excellence, community, and creating memories that last well beyond the final curtain. Join us by the bay, take your seat, and be reminded why the season isn’t complete without a visit to Peninsula Players Theatre…where the sun sets, the curtain rises and the stars shine.
