Hello to all my clients, friends and followers. We are in the peak spring break travel season and most of you are traveling to the Caribbean or South in general.
I truly try to make sure you all are ‘flight/travel’ prepared.
I want to share a few tips:
*Make sure you read your documents!!!! They are sent to you for a reason. Some countries require immigration forms. Do you own due diligence.
*Make sure you arrive to the airport in ample time. I’ve had multiple people miss flights because they thought they’d be fine. No, you’re not! Better to get there early, go through security and grab a coffee then miss your flight!
*Download your airline, transfer, and resorts apps on your phone.
*Create a log in and add your personal confirmation number.
*Make sure you have cancellation
Insurance.
* If you are not my client, please make sure your travel agent knows you’re personal information. We then can be in contact with you should you have any issues.
*Above rebuttal: if you are a ‘Do it yourselfer “, that’s fine. Just know that my service fee of a simple $35.00 goes a long way!
The 1-800 or .com’s could care less about you. Try calling that number during a crisis!
I truly do!
* There will be times when you’re like, ‘ I don’t need Ann, I can do this on my own and save $35.00’.
* My reply: Good for you!!! I get it. I am however schooled with degrees and multiple awards because of my experience. (40+ years). But, I understand this is a computer age and everyone knows how to do everything. No problem. Please don't be " that guy that calls and says, " you work with my mom"...... If I don't have your original reservation, I, unfortunately can not help you.
* I understand no one wants to pay anymore then they have to, I get that too, but sometimes service fees are well worth it!!!! This is just for airline tickets. Tours and cruises there is no charge at all.
Hopefully this may help you understand why travel agents are a great resource when planning your perfect vacation!!
