I've been trying to write this post since last September...hard one.

With everyone's recent fishing posts, trip inquiries, and the walleye bite heating up...I guess it's time to provide an update!

We have decided to temporarily stop chartering to spend more TIME with our family.
We ended up selling Group Therapy in September, and she went to a great home.

Paul and I would like to thank all of the customers that have fished with us over the last seven years. We have met many great people, made alot of friends, and thoroughly enjoyed each and every trip. We've had so much fun, and got so much enjoyment out of it.

Dreams do come true, when you put in the time, energy, sweat, tears, and work, even when your a female in a mans sport... and its been a great ride. I hate to see it come to a close, but every great chapter does.

I know I couldn't of done this without the help/support from Paul, my dad Greg, my mom Cheryl, Bert, Terry, Jimmy, Chris, my friends, my coworkers, and everyone that supported our journey along the way. Thank you.

We plan on keeping all of our credentials so we can jump back on board/chartering when we purchase our next boat. Offer a bigger selection of trips- ice out perch, early season lakers, nighttime walleye jigging/trolling, fall steelhead...and of course getting back up to Lake Ontario, which I've been dying to do.
We also can't wait and are so excited to teach our children the love for fishing, and want them to grow up on our Great Lake!

Thank you for all the love and support!!!!
Too be continued.
Ps. We will still be fishing and catching sunrises/sunsets 🙏💙
Please reach out with any questions about Erie, fishing, or just to say hello.

Much Love,

Capt Mel and Paul

An old friend Justin Botting and his family came to kill some walleye today, and thats just what we did! 43 walleyes are heading back to Newfane NY. We had an absolute blast on a gorgeous lake! Great to see ya, time sure flies! Maybe next time we will be holding some kings. 🐟

The Parker gang pulled the biggest box of the year this morning! Fishing was on fire and we filled the yeti with their limit of walleyes and ours. Mark brought us a new lure, The "Deadly Dick" which worked well on a rigger. Got back to the dock and the guys put on a catfish and bowfin clinic with some chunked walleye scraps while we cleaned fish. Awesome morning of fishing, great to see you guys again!

We were excited to finally get Bob Ainsley and is family from Murrysville, PA out after a weather cancelation last year. What a picture perfect morning on the lake! Wasn't long before the yeti was loaded up with some nice walleyes. So nice to meet you all. Hopefully we will be able to catch up in the streams this fall 🐟

Yestersay 8/15 - Day 2 for Frank, Denny, Chris, and Matt. Another gorgeous day on the lake. Our boards were best, while our rigger and diver bite was alittle slow. Didn't take long for the guys to load up the Yeti. Couldn't ask for a better day. Always a pleasure fishing with you guys. See ya next August!

8/7- Yesterday's late afternoon trip with the Claudio family! We were greeted by a gorgeous lake, besides some wicked down current that trashed a few rods. Slow start running our morning program, lots of fish bumped up off the bottom so we made some adjustments to fish higher in the water column and the walleyes started flying in the boat. Bangos were best! 36 iced for the Claudio's. Great job everyone! 🙏🐟

8/7- Yesterday's morning trip with Stephanie, Michael, Mike, Mikey, and Gabe was a good one! It was a great family and birthday celebration. We loaded up the yeti with 30 nice eyes. It was great seeing you guys, and we look forward to seeing you guys in the fall chasing steel. 🐟

8/6 Afternoon trip with Doctor Tim, Shawn, Ryan, Ryan, and Keegan. We had a ball, especially listening to the regai music and 90s alternative. Slower steady pick, but the guys managed 30 nice walleyes, and Capt Paul and Mel got 6 more on the cleanup. Everyone was put to work, great day!

What a picture perfect day! The lake was nice, lots of hungry fish, good company, and a beautiful sunrise. The Henderson group from SWPA stacked the cooler, killing their 30 walleyes which was the best weight box of the year so far. We picked 5 extras for ourselves cleaning up. 5 cores and deep thundersticks and a mixture of renoskys and super slims on the divers/riggers did the work. Thank you all! See you next year. 🐟
