My name is Tom Freedman and I grew up on the banks of the Androscoggin River in Errol New Hampshire. I have been a die-hard fly fisherman since I was very young, and have 30+ years of experience in this wonderful sport. I am a licensed guide in both New Hampshire and Maine and offer guided fly fishing trips on the premier waters of Northern NH and Rangeley ME. Guiding is my full time job, and I wo

rk hard to provide every client a safe and enjoyable experience on the water. I offer trips for anglers of all skill levels, with wade, float and stillwater trips available. I hope you will consider spending a day with me in the outdoors while I share my passion and knowledge of fly fishing!

Summer stuff...

Recent cool temps have been keeping our rivers and streams in good shape, but the hot weather is coming back, and those water temps will be creeping up again.

Hard to believe after the wet spring we had, but we could use a little rain too. The small streams are getting a little thin, and even the stealthiest approach will send little shadows scurrying under rocks. Walk soft out there, and it really pays to carry a thermometer...

Hope everyone is enjoying a safe Memorial Day weekend.

The last few years I have been typically seeing water temps pushing the low 60's by now. I took a water temp at 43F on Saturday! Things should start warming up with the coming weather this week. As always, be safe in the high flows and cold water.

Karen and Igor have been running Bradford Camps for 30 years now, and it is time to find the next lucky person or group to take over. It is a very solid business, with an excellent landowner/partner. Bradford's future is very secure, and the experience of running Bradford is like nothing else. We intend to help the transition, and be available for assistance, advice, and professional commercial flying in support of Bradford.

The 2025 season is nearly booked out. The septic system is brand new. All bathrooms have been rebuilt. Guides and staff are on deck to support a smooth transition. It is a perfect time to consider a new, interesting, healthy, and rewarding life!
