My name is Tom Freedman and I grew up on the banks of the Androscoggin River in Errol New Hampshire. I have been a die-hard fly fisherman since I was very young, and have 30+ years of experience in this wonderful sport. I am a licensed guide in both New Hampshire and Maine and offer guided fly fishing trips on the premier waters of Northern NH and Rangeley ME. Guiding is my full time job, and I work hard to provide every client a safe and enjoyable experience on the water. I offer trips for anglers of all skill levels, with wade, float and stillwater trips available. I hope you will consider spending a day with me in the outdoors while I share my passion and knowledge of fly fishing!

The 15th has come and gone, which means New Hampshire's regular fishing season is done. Now only extended season waters remain.

Probably not too many nice days remaining, but there are opportunities for those who persist.

So long to September 🍁

Another fall season of low water in these parts. Some days everything falls into place, and the fishing is all that you could ever hope for. Other days it's a grind to put a few in the net. Either way it will always be my favorite time of year. It gets harder every year to see it end.

The dog days of summer...

After our wet spring, summer has been on the dry side. Small waters have been boney, so I've been bothering the bass more than usual this year.

Some much needed rain today to go with some cooler recent nights. I've seen some waters with temps as low as 60F, and others holding steady at 71F. Fall is right around the corner. I have a few dates left in September. Call or email to inquire.

Springtime! 🎣

I haven't had much time to fish since last Fall between the new baby at home and a busy winter at the ski mountain, so it was nice to head south for a few days and sling some streamers around.
