Beginners-Experienced!!!! People who have never winter camped and for people who have!!!!
You dont have to sleep in a snowcave either!! You can bring a tent or even “cowboy camp” (sleep on the ground/ no tent depending on weather)

If you’re heading out, put rocks in your pockets, the ride’s NOT over yet…more windy days ahead.

And PLEASE stay far away from trees, especially the big dead ones. They’re called “widowmakers” for a reason.

Mother Nature was flexing her fall fashion at Bear Lake over the weekend, and WOW what a stunner!! 😍 Usually, we’re racing to Dream Lake by sunrise, but a slow start had us chilling at Bear Lake just as the sky lit up with fiery autumn vibes!!!!!!🍂🌅 Clearly, the universe knew we needed this epic moment!

Fun Fact!
This 109-square-mile beauty was born from a prehistoric earthquake hissy fit that yeeted half the valley floor!!! It’s 20 miles long, 8 miles wide, and 208 feet deep—plenty of room for cannonballs and bad decisions, but unlike many other lakes here in RMNP…. You can NOT swim, fish or boat here :(! 💥🌎

“Up close and personal and sometimes too close for comfort. Searching for the right photo without impeding on wildlife and their natural activities is sometimes challenging and can at times be nerve racking. Always allow space for these animals and observe at a distance. This photo was taken at approximately 75 yards with a stream acting as a barrier between the two of us. I would like to believe I went unnoticed as I was super quiet and as gentle as I could be without disruption. These photos are why I do this!”

After catching a quick peak at the aurora in my neighborhood, i got in my car and headed to marys lake as quick as i could! 🚙
Clearly I arrived just in time for the most amazingly stunning LIGHT SHOW over the water!!!!!!
😍😍🥳WOW WHAT A NIGHT!!! 🥳🥳
