There’s no better place to celebrate Independence Day than surrounded by the beauty of the Colorado Rockies. Whether you’re casting a fly on the Big Thompson River, exploring Rocky Mountain National Park, or enjoying everything downtown Estes Park has to offer, we hope you have a safe and memorable holiday.

As many of you know, there will not be a fireworks show in Estes Park this year due to ongoing concerns about wildfire danger and dry conditions. While we all love the tradition, protecting our forests, wildlife, homes, and community comes first.

The good news? There’s still plenty to celebrate! Enjoy the festive atmosphere around town, local events, live music, great restaurants, and some incredible fly fishing. Early mornings and evenings have been producing some fantastic action, making it the perfect way to spend your holiday weekend.

If you’re visiting Estes Park and want to experience the best fly fishing Colorado has to offer, we’d love to take you on the water.
