Dear Friends,

Good stewardship sometimes means taking a pause before taking the next step.

After careful consideration, we have temporarily suspended tour operations

You may still see us around town using the vehicle for personal, non-commercial purposes, but we are not currently conducting tours or accepting bookings.

We are grateful for the wonderful support, encouragement, and friendships we have received since beginning Eufaula Historic Tours. We hope to resume operations once this review is complete and will keep everyone updated along the way.

In the meantime, we encourage everyone to continue supporting Eufaula's historic sites, local merchants, restaurants, and community organizations that help make our town such a special place.

One of the things we enjoy most about researching local history is discovering that what we think we're seeing isn't always the full story. Recently, we learned the meaning behind a type of monument found in historic cemeteries that many people assume has been damaged.

The answer surprised us.

There are several examples right here in Eufaula, each with a story of its own. History is often hiding in plain sight.

VISITING EUFAULA??? Eufaula Historic Tours offers a relaxed, small-group experience designed for visitors who want to slow down and truly enjoy the character of Eufaula. Traveling in our open-air vintage-style vehicle, guests explore historic neighborhoods, downtown shops, scenic lake and river views, and the stories that make this community unique. Our tours are personal, conversational, and unhurried — blending history, architecture, humor, and local insight in a way that feels more like spending time with local hosts than taking a formal tour. What a wonderful day for tours in Eufaula! 💛

Today we had the pleasure of hosting two separate families celebrating mothers — and what made it even more special was that both groups had toured with us before!

There is no greater compliment than guests returning to ride with us again and share Eufaula with family and friends. We are so grateful for each person who chooses to spend part of their day exploring this beautiful town, hearing its stories, and making memories together.

As Tom and I no longer have our mothers with us, being included in these joyful family celebrations made the day especially meaningful.

“We were only going to tour Shorter Mansion, but saw the adorable Eufaula Historic Tours vehicle and decided to do that as well. What a GREAT decision!
