To everyone who has called to book a tour this holiday weekend — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your enthusiasm and continued support mean more to us than we can express.

For now, our vintage classic is patiently waiting in the garage while we work through an insurance matter. We don't have a timeline just yet, but we remain hopeful — and when we're back, we'll be ready to show off this beautiful city in style!

Tom and I are deeply grateful for the kind comments, messages, and support we have received.

Many have asked what happened. As we shared previously, we recently learned that there are insurance questions surrounding our operation that must be resolved before we can continue. This came as a surprise to us, as we believed we had appropriate coverage in place and have always tried to operate responsibly and in good faith.

From the beginning, our goal was never to build a large business, but simply to share Eufaula's history, hospitality, and unique character with visitors and residents alike. We have been truly touched by the encouragement and support from our community and visitors.

Thank you for your kindness, your understanding, and for allowing us to share Eufaula's story with so many wonderful people.

Dear Friends,

Good stewardship sometimes means taking a pause before taking the next step.

After careful consideration, we have temporarily suspended tour operations

You may still see us around town using the vehicle for personal, non-commercial purposes, but we are not currently conducting tours or accepting bookings.

We are grateful for the wonderful support, encouragement, and friendships we have received since beginning Eufaula Historic Tours. We hope to resume operations once this review is complete and will keep everyone updated along the way.

In the meantime, we encourage everyone to continue supporting Eufaula's historic sites, local merchants, restaurants, and community organizations that help make our town such a special place.

One of the things we enjoy most about researching local history is discovering that what we think we're seeing isn't always the full story. Recently, we learned the meaning behind a type of monument found in historic cemeteries that many people assume has been damaged.

The answer surprised us.

Traveling in our open-air vintage-style vehicle, guests explore historic neighborhoods, downtown shops, scenic lake and river views, and the stories that make this community unique. Our tours are personal, conversational, and unhurried — blending history, architecture, humor, and local insight in a way that feels more like spending time with local hosts than taking a formal tour.
