Located across the street from the Jackson House Hotel, this railroad car was once owned by the Eureka & Palisade Railroad. ๐
The E&P was a narrow-gauge train founded in 1873 and originally used to transport ore from the Ruby Hill mines. The railroad's second year of operation saw them add four more locomotives and three passenger cars to their stock. ๐
Today, you can stop by while touring Main Street Eureka, take photo-ops marking your trek across Hwy. 50, and learn more Eureka County history!
